About the Role

Siyalungisa Occupational Hygiene Services (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Occupational Hygienist to join our technical leadership team.

This role serves as the Project Leader and Technical Signatory, providing technical oversight across Occupational Hygiene projects, reviewing quotations and RFQs, and ensuring all deliverables meet legislative and SANAS AIA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage Occupational Hygiene projects from planning to final reporting.
* Serve as Project Leader for assigned client projects.
* Conduct and review Occupational Hygiene Risk Assessments.
* Review monitoring strategies, sampling plans and exposure assessments.
* Provide technical oversight and mentorship to Technologists and Assistants.
* Technically review and sign off Occupational Hygiene reports within authorised scope.
* Review RFQs, scopes of work, quotations and technical specifications.
* Participate in technical meetings and provide professional advice to clients.
* Ensure compliance with Occupational Hygiene legislation, standards and approved methodologies.

Minimum Requirements

* Qualification in Occupational Hygiene or related field.
* Registered with SAIOH as an Occupational Hygienist.
* Valid Legal Knowledge Certificate.
* Strong Occupational Hygiene project management experience.
* Excellent report writing and technical review skills.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Valid driver's licence.
* Willingness to travel when required.

Work Arrangement

*Hybrid / Remote, with attendance at the Middelburg office and client sites as required.
